Breathing Air Compressor Service Program

Our Technicians are certified in Bauer and Mako Compressors

Services Provided:

Change Compressor Oil Every 6 Months

Operate Compressor

bullet

Check Pressure Levels in All Stages

bullet

Check for Loose Fittings and Connections

bullet

Check Filters

bullet

Check Gauges and Connections

bullet

Refill Liquid Filled Gauges if Necessary

bullet

Check Belt Drive Alignment

bullet

Check All Electrical Connections

For services listed above - $115.00 plus an additional $60/hour travel time.

Up to one (1) Gallon of regular oil for the compressor is included in price.  Any other parts, synthetic oil, or filter would be at an additional cost.

Optional:  Air Quality Test Available @ $135.00 (Recommended once a year for normal use, twice a year for heavy use)

After Service is provided, an inspection report will be forwarded advising of any areas requiring attention. Any item needing repair will be noted and an estimate to repair will follow.

Amkus Service Program

Hydraulic Power Unit:

Clean and inspect for wear and damage

bullet

 Inspect hydraulic hoses for cuts and/or abrasions

bullet

Clean and check quick disconnects for proper operation

bullet

Check line pressure and adjust pressure relief valve, if needed

bullet        Remove engine and hydraulic pump from reservoir
bullet                         Inspect pump fluid
bullet

     Clean reservoir and inspect pump

bullet                        Clean sump pump screen
bullet         Refill Reservoir with clean mineral base hydraulic oil
bullet         Reinstall pump and seal reservoir
bullet         Reinstall and seal engine mounting flange
bullet         Change engine oil according to manufacturer recommendations
bullet         Inspect and clean spark plug
bullet         Start engine and adjust carburetor, if necessary
bullet         Perform line pressure test on side A and side B

 Spreader

bullet

Clean and inspect for excessive wear or damage

bullet

Remove arms, clean and inspect pivot area, rack and gear assembly

bullet

Remove rack shield and straighten, if needed

bullet

Lubricate rack, spreader arm gear and pivot pins

bullet

Remove control valve, inspect and replace O-rings

bullet

  Remove manifold from cylinder, inspect and replace O-rings

bullet

Clean and inspect fittings, hoses, and quick disconnects

bullet

Check line hydraulic pressure

Cutter:

bullet

Clean and inspect for excessive wear or damage

bullet

Remove, clean and inspect center bolt, blades, knuckle housing, friction plates, and cutter housing

bullet

Check friction plate roll pins for proper clearance and adjust

bullet

Blades will be dressed per Amkus standards

bullet

Reassemble cutter blade assembly using new snap rings

bullet

Remove control valve, inspect and replace O-rings

bullet

 Remove manifold from cylinder, inspect and replace O-rings

bullet

Clean and inspect fittings, hoses and quick disconnects

bullet

Check line hydraulic pressure

Rams:

bullet

Clean and inspect for wear of damage

bullet

 Inspect ram shaft for burrs or rust

bullet

 Inspect ram head threads

bullet

 Inspect top and bottom cap for leaks

bullet

 Inspect top cap wiper seal for excessive leakage

bullet

 Inspect and replace top and bottom manifold O-rings (old style Ram)

bullet

 Inspect and replace control valve O-rings

bullet

Inspect and clean fittings, hoses and quick disconnects

bullet

Check line hydraulic pressure

Hydraulic Extension Hoses and/or Hydraulic Reels

bullet

Clean and inspect for cuts and abrasions

bullet

Pressure Test

bullet       Inspect and clean hose fittings and quick disconnects
